Uganda Cranes CHAN squad trimmed further ahead of trip to Tunisia

Uganda Cranes squad that is preparing for African Nations Championship (CHAN) has on Saturday been trimmed further.

Coach Milutin Sredojevic had on Thursday reduced the provisional squad from 37 to 30 and five more players have been dropped.

The five players include Saidi Kyeyune, Ibrahim Kasule and goalkeepers Emmanuel Kalyowa, Mathias Muwanga and Abdu Maganda who was summoned for familiarisation purpose.

The 25-man squad will travel to Tunisia on Sunday, 1st January for another training camp.

According to Micho, the team will have a number of friendly games to play while in Tunisia.

From Tunisia, the team will connect to Algeria where Uganda is pooled in Group B alongside Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
